Heavily, we bid farewell to Barbara Farrelly.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Farrelly. Always an active supporter of our community, Barbara was writer and editor for Sydney’s oldest LGBTQ+ newspaper The Sydney Star Observer, before meeting rival, then-wife, Frances Rand. They soon teamed up to make LOTL the publication you know and love today.

Barbara suffered from COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), and fought long and hard before it finally bested her.
