Amelia Ryan performs at Adelaide’s Feast Festival with her hilarious, autobiographical cabaret.
When a girl’s been blessed with a gay father, a transgender step-mother, can add ‘Exotic Dancing’ to her resume, and has caused the spectacular demise of five automobiles, what’s left to do but get it all off her chest in a candid yet hilariously delivered cabaret?
Fresh from a smash-hit run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide’s own cabaret darling, Amelia Ryan, returns with A Storm In A D Cup. Ryan’s autobiographical, one-woman show has also been performed to sell-out crowds in Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong and at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
Described by Radio Adelaide as ‘candid, hysterical, uninhibited,’ the performance will be Ryan’s first appearance at Feast Festival. “Living in Adelaide now, I love being a part of the Festival scene that Adelaide is renowned for.”
