Saturday 22 February sees the Red Rattler in Marrickville transformed into Club Camp!
This Mardi Gras festival event will be held in support of Camp Out – an annual event held in regional NSW for LGBTIQ young people aged 13 to 17.
Club Camp will be emceed by none other than performer extraordinaire Paul Capsis. The night will feature an auction of stellar prizes, queer performances, and dance floor action till late with DJ’s Sveta, Lovertits, Hip Hop Hoe, Del and Tracksuit pants.
Held over five days in April, Camp Out hosts an amazing program of events like art, music, sports and beach trips. Professional facilitators run workshops on things like what it means to be LGBTIQ-identified, questioning your gender or sexual orientation, dealing with homophobia and transphobia, and coming out.
Camp Out gives campers an opportunity to meaningfully connect with others and share their experiences in a safe, supportive and fun environment.
