Each Breakout masterclass is a full day from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm with lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided. Breakout is Riverside Theatre’s development arm, designed to foster a vibrant Western Sydney voice and identity for Riverside stages.
Selected new plays by established and emerging playwrights are supported with rehearsed readings or workshops under the guidance of professional directors and actors with the aim of establishing a group of writers of professional standard, based at Riverside.
