GALFA (The Gay and Lesbian Foundation of Australia) wants to help you with your project.

The Gay and Lesbian Foundation of Australia (GALFA) Board of Directors has announced that the next funding round of grants up to $5,000 will be considered before the end of the year.

They are interested in projects that benefit LGBTI Australians including:

•    reducing discrimination and social exclusion
•    improving health and wellbeing
•    supporting aging well
•    educating the wider community about LGBTI issues

Applicants are to submit an expression of interest by Monday 3rd September 2012. Those shortlisted will then be asked to submit a full application by Friday 5th October 2012.

Organisations with deductible gift recipient (DGR) status are eligible to apply and should check the details at galfa.org.au.
