App Gayborhood expands nationally: Denver, Phoenix, Miami and Philly among new markets.
Gayborhood, a national resource of LGBTQ-friendly businesses available online and via mobile applications has announced their entry into four additional markets in 2014. Miami, Philadelphia, Denver and Phoenix have been added to a quickly growing list of cities offering the service in addition to Los Angeles, West Palm Beach and San Diego which will begin operation in July.
Whether looking for a LGBTQ-friendly restaurant, bar, or attorney you can find it on the Gayborhood app. The service covers over 1500 business categories and 45 markets and features listings, events, deals, a blog and more.
“Our primary objective in 2014 is to drive more people to the website and mobile applications to provide our advertisers with a positive ROI,” says Thomas Ryan-Lawrence, COO of Carma Productions, the parent company of Gayborhood. “So far, the first two quarters have been amazing. We’ve been very pleased with the increased traffic and look forward to watching the continued growth.”
While Gayborhood’s largest and growing markets are in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles, new markets have opened this year are growing at a rate that far exceeds past performance. “It’s very exciting to see the community embracing Gayborhood and we love knowing our advertisers are getting business,” says Marci Alt, CEO of Carma Productions.
