SGLC Echoes of PrideThe Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir (SGLC) is excited to present “Echoes of Pride,” a celebration of diversity, resilience, and the unifying power of music, at Petersham Town Hall on Saturday, October 26.

“Echoes of Pride” will feature a carefully curated selection of songs from over a decade of SGLC’s repertoire, taking audiences through the struggles, triumphs, and indomitable spirit of the LGBTQIA+ community.

From uplifting anthems like “I’m Still Standing” to timeless classics such as “Over The Rainbow,” each song will resonate with love, acceptance, and hope themes.

Music Director Adam Majsay shared, “With popular queer anthems and commissioned works inspired by the personal experiences of SGLC members, you’ll experience the beauty of our voices united in harmony as we celebrate the strength and vibrancy of our community.”

For over ten years, the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir has been the soundtrack of Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ community. This non-auditioned choir welcomes members regardless of their sexual identity or musical experience. United by a love of singing and a commitment to performance excellence, the choir is a powerful symbol of diversity, inclusion, and harmony, maintaining a vital and visible presence in Sydney’s LGBTQIA+ history since 1991.

Don’t miss this extraordinary event to celebrate, stand together, and let voices unite in a powerful symphony of pride.
