Dapper Boi fits your everyday identity.
If the jeans don’t fit, you mustn’t quit! We all have that one pair of jeans that we live and die in, but there is always one flaw. Whether it’s the ritual of dressing in them, which can require too many acrobatic maneuvers or nights of starvation, or the fact that they have one leg in the grave, we dread the idea of banishing them into exile or spending hours at the store trying to replace that most comfortable memory.
It appears there may be a glimmer of hope, and not just for the androgynous woman. Dapper Boi has designed a clothing line that includes slim-straight jeans featuring the details and the look from men’s jeans while also providing a superior fit and comfort to fit a woman’s body, which means the right amount of stretch. Originally designed for androgynous women, Dapper Boi jeans aim to be an asset to any closet, including those of andro and curvy women alike. After the rollout of their first style of jeans, the company will be adding to their line, including various fits and washes.
The founder of Dapper Boi, Vicky Pasche, sparked an idea for the clothing line after struggling herself to accept a less-than-perfect fit when it came to jeans. Pasche worked on her Kickstarter campaign with her wife Charisse.
The campaign ran for 30 days, from April 21 till May 20 2015 and they hit their target goal of $18,000 one week prior to the deadline. It was without a doubt an unforgettable moment for them.
There were high fives, jumping, and definitely some crazy dance moves! The pledges stayed consistent throughout and the couple was beyond thrilled to hit $26,364! This provided them with the necessary funding for both the first production of custom-fit jeans and their initial marketing strategy.
“Times are changing, and I feel so lucky to be part of a world where androgynous styles are being accepted by society,” says Pasche.“Dapper Boi wants to raise the bar by making this revolutionary look and fit accessible and part of everyday life. What better way to launch Dapper Boi than with jeans?”
