CoastOut kicks things up a notch in Coffs Harbour this Spring.
Coast Out, Coffs Harbour’s Premier Gay and Lesbian Festival will again put the seaside town in the spotlight this October attracting visitors and guests from Australia and abroad to the three-day long festival.
MusicOz Pop Artist of the Year Radio Ink, Electro-Pop duo Garcon Garcon and queen of House DJ Kate Monroe will be just some of the acts joining this year’s program from October 26-28 as well as brand new local acts discovered through the Festivals local talent initiative, Coast Scout.
The Annual event, now in its third year, aims to showcase the beautiful landscape that the Coffs Coast has to offer with their range of music, arts and sporting events. Local venues and tourist attractions such as the Pet Porpoise Pool, Big Banana and stunning Coffs beaches will be the backdrop for a range of this year’s biggest acts.
While Park Beach Reserve will be transformed to play host to returning events such as the Welcome Cocktail Party, Party in the Park and Fair Day. Adding to this year’s Festival are new events such as the Cake Competition and Pet Parade.
Coast Out’s signature event, the “Unreal Surf Competition”, the only gay and lesbian surf competition in the world will now be held over 2 days due to the events increased interest. It is an all inclusive competition, registrations are available online now.
Earlybird tickets to Coast Out are already on sale and festival organisers are offering a range ticket options from 3-day passes to travel packages from Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
