Aurora Group are thrilled to announce that author, commentator and TV personality Andrew Mercado is back by popular demand to host Fat Tuesday

Andrew was a hit at last year’s Fat Tuesday so Aurora is delighted that he is returning!

Aurora will celebrate Fat Tuesday in the fabulous style that supporters have become accustomed to. Now in its seventh year, Fat Tuesday (also known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day and the literal French translation Mardi Gras) is traditionally the date is a ‘last hurrah’ before lent begins. And Aurora guests certainly know how to indulge and have a good time!

Aurora Event Director Wayne Cox said, “Fat Tuesday is an evening of pure indulgence – a fabulous menu, lots of delicious wine to drink and great entertainment all night.”

The ticket price is $125, which is inclusive of a top-class three-course dinner, pre-dinner drinks and canapés, wine throughout the evening and a fabulous line-up of entertainment which will be announced soon.

The Oak Barrel will once again be a wine partner and generously provide a selection of wines while hotel group Radisson Blu also remain as an event partner.

Fat Tuesday is a fundraiser for Aurora’s charitable grants programs, for GLBT projects across NSW.
