US comedian Fortune Feimster will perform one stand-up show at the Studio, Sydney Opera House as well as appear at the Just for Laughs All-Star Gala at the Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House.
A stand-up comedian, writer and actor, Fortune first made a name for herself on ‘Chelsea Lately’.
Feimster currently stars in the Netflix series ‘Champions’ as a series regular and is known for her role as ‘Nurse Collette on ‘The Mindy Project’.
Her Netflix stand-up special received rave reviews. Feimster has also performed stand-up on ‘Conan,’ Comedy Central’s ‘@midnight’ and has her own Comedy Central half hour special. Feimster can be seen on films such as, ‘Office Christmas Party’ in addition to the adventure comedy, ‘Deported’.
Prior to that Fortune co-wrote and sold two comedy pilots with the latter being produced by Tina Fey. Feimster has also made many guest appearances on hit TV shows including ‘Dear White People’, ‘Idiotsitter’, ‘Workaholics’, and ‘Drunk History’.
Fortune now headlines the best comedy clubs across the US and is one of comedy’s fastest rising stars. This will be Fortune’s only Australian solo show Wednesday 21 November for AAMI Just for Laughs Sydney.
She has been added to the annual Just For Laughs All-Star Gala, hosted by Dave Hughes which features a stellar lineup including Reggie Watts,
