The Launch Party promises a night full of fun, music, entertainers, prizes, drag queens, karaoke, DJ’s, dancing and more. There will be prizes on offer as well as finger food provided for all. Early-bird tickets can be booked now for only $20 by emailing your name and number of tickets to [email protected]. Tickets are $25 at the door.

Paul Ferguson of the Festival’s Organising Committee said “This is going to be a launch party like no other, as we are launching a 2014 Pride Festival like no other. Our Official Launch Party is designed to launch the Festival which is coming up in just three months’ time. We will let everyone know about the agenda, activities and entertainment for the Festival weekend.”

“We have sourced some great headline acts which we are excited about as well as partnered with some great venues to ensure that next year’s Festival will be one of our best ever. One of these new partnerships is with The Original Eumundi Markets which will play host venue to our signature event – Pride Fair Day. By combining our Fair Day with the legendary Eumundi Markets and their usual attendance, this is surely going to be one of the biggest and most highly anticipated and well-attended Pride events in Queensland.”

“The Committee has been working hard to try and improve on the great work accomplished for this year’s Festival and based on feedback received, have been able to add a fourth event to the 2014 Festival schedule.”

He also said “The Launch also doubles as a fundraising event with any proceeds being reinvested into the Festival.”
