Sydney Gay & Lesbian Business Association Inc. (SGLBA) presents our special Mardi Gras Parade-eve edition of Lemons with a Twist®.With an extraordinary line of talent and prizes, it’s sure to be a sell-out.
This year we are have a fabulous photo booth (which is free for SGLBA members), singers, prizes and more!Our ‘Photo Booth without the booth’ is shaping up nicely and will feature on stage with hair & make-up attendees to help you look your best before dipping into the ‘dress-up box’ and having your picture taken by our professional photographer (members pics are free, non-members by gold coin donation at the door).
The night’s featured performer is long-standing community member, Shauna Jensen. Shauna has performed at clubs and parties around the world for nearly 4 decades, and with her power house voice is sure to blow the roof off.
Lemons also has Rachel James performing at her first Lemons with a Twist® Mardi Gras event. Her music features regularly on JJJ and often plays at Chicks with Pics.
We are also proud to announce a cabaret performance never before seen at Lemons with a Twist®!Dancing lingerie girls, a fantastic French number (you know everything sounds better in French!) – let’s go to Lemons – Oui!
There’ll be a fabulous selection of prizes this month including gift vouchers to Facewell, delicious cupcake packs from My Little Cupcake Darlinghurst, and discounts to international renowned stylist, Frank Provost.
We have partnered with Queer Screen to help showcase the leading lesbian films of the Mardi Gras Film Festival, and ACON will sharethe importance of health within the women’s community.
