This Sydney Mardi Gras, Women Say Something will be taking over Paddington Town Hall for an evening filled with food, love, laughter and entertainment.
Generations of Women celebrates those women who have come before, those who have influenced, and what needs to happen to continue what they started in our world.
UK Actress/Singer Heather Peace will not only speak but also perform at the event. Heather plays the lead role of Detective Sergeant Sam Murray in the BBC hit lesbian drama Lip Service.
Joining Heather will be Australia’s own Claudia Karvan. Claudia has been a long-time supporter of our communities and is much loved for her strong portrayal of women in The Secret Life of Us, Love My Way, and most recently, Puberty Blues. She is a patron of the Just Australia campaign, an Ambassador for Wayside Chapel, and an Ambassador for the Natalie Miller fellowship.
Brought to you by the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Women’s Committee, and hosted by our very own Kate Monroe, this is an event not to be missed.
