The upcoming Women Say Something event will explore themes of power and hope.
After a sell-out event for the 2012 Mardi Gras season, Women Say Something returns with the theme "Iron Ladies." The evening will explore the intersecting themes of power and hope by notables in the community.
Women Say Something is a popular event where women have the opportunity to hear from and ask questions from a diverse panel of women from all facets of our community and beyond. It is also a great opportunity to dine with the panelists, as well as enjoy some pre-dinner entertainment and thought provoking conversation with some laughs thrown in. A great evening to connect, share and learn from other women.
There are some popular panelists and special guests lined up to entertain, educate and share. Panelist Eva Cox will provide an introduction to the event on the topic, “Can hope exist without power, from a feminist perspective?”
This is the fifth installation of the Women Say Something speaking series. The last one sold out three weeks in advance so be sure to secure your tickets. Head to the Facebook page for all the updates.
