Our favourite lesbians from the webseries across the ditch!
The six episodes serve up another feast of Wellington lesbian life that is fresh, fun and occasionally ridiculous!
The weekly dinners have been cancelled but that doesn’t stop the Pot Luck fun from flowing as Debs (Anji Kreft), Beth (Tess Jamieson-Karaha) and Mel (Nikki Si’ulepa) navigate the highs and lows of life, love, and maintaining their friendships with some new personalities in the mix.
After years flying solo, Debs is working out how to trust in a relationship again, Beth is wrapped up in her romance with Anna while her Mum Eileen’s health is deteriorating fast, and Mel is left wondering what to do when her friends have moved on without her.
The universal themes of friendship, family, and finding love have resonated with audiences globally, and since release in July 2016 Pot Luck’s first season has racked up over 2.5 million unique views across all six episodes on multiple online platforms.
“The response to season one has been overwhelmingly positive” says writer/director Ness Simons, “and it’s been such a great opportunity to continue with these characters and their stories.”
