Lover is Val Flynn’s first track in 2019.

Val has just been confirmed to play Quandamooka Festival in August alongside Jessica Mauboy and Dan Sultan.

Following up from Val Flynn ’s last single – heroic club anthem ‘ Werk 4 It ’ – he’s back and stronger than ever with his first release to 2019 Lover .

Premiering this week on Sunset with Slimset on FBI Radio , this Pop-Riddim-Afrobeat number (engineered by Jesswar) will take you from ‘looking out the window into the distance sipping on a pina colada’ to ‘makin it clap in the club’.

Paired with a cinematic music video (shot and directed by David Fischer ) that follows Val Flynn around the streets of Melbourne, where he is caught front and centre – exploring, having fun, and getting down to business!

Lover shows us why Val Flynn is a fresh new force ready to take centre stage.

Val Flynn says that, “I created my new track Lover  whilst in New York earlier this year with my good friend and music-peer Jesswar.

Jesswar and I (and a few other friends) got LIT one night in Manhattan and then had the wildest kick on/jam out at their apartment in Brooklyn.

I created Lover  for all the love makers and party cravers!”

Only just debuting early 2018, Val Flynn counts supporting Charli XCX (Brisbane leg) as a major goal for the year alongside gracing stages with Miss Blanks at Snowtunes Festival, and recently performing for QPAC (Queensland Performing Arts Centre).
