Yes, that’s right, the mighty Blondie and the legendary Pretenders will be rocking the wineries in one cracker of a double bill!

It’s ten years since the folk at Day on the Green launched their popular series of live concerts in vineyards around Australia and they’ve decided to celebrate in style by serving up a double bill of musical magic featuring two or the rock world’s best-loved frontwomen… Debbie Harry and Chrissie Hynde.

With a swag of Top Ten hits to their names, there is no denying the popularity of these two acts so tickets are sure to sell out fast…

Australia has always had a special place in the band Blondie’s heart, being the first country in the world to give them commercial success when Molly Meldrum mistakenly played ‘In The Flesh’ (the B side of a single) on Countdown in 1976.

After a 25 year hiatus, Blondie toured Australia five years ago and can’t wait to get back.

When co-headliners The Pretenders last toured with ‘a day on the green’ three years ago, Chrissie Hynde declared the concerts ‘some of our favourite shows of all time’.
