Don’t miss the Play Like A Girl sessions in Brunswick.

Play Like A Girl sessions is held on the last Tuesday night of each month from February through to November at the Cornish Arms Hotel, Brunswick. Each session features a special guest artist who performs a set from approximately 7.30 pm to 8 pm.

After the guest artist’s set, other women musicians who wish to perform can go on stage for up to two songs either solo or with other musicians, we can introduce them on the night.

There is a stage with the front of house speakers, foldback, microphones and two ‘boom’ mic stands. Allans Music + Billy Hyde provides backline equipment including bass and guitar amps, a drum kit and a keyboard. There is also a sound technician who mics up each act on the night.

Play Like a Girl focuses on creating a supportive and creative environment for musicians of any genre and level of accomplishment from beginners through to experienced performers.
