Bev Lange, the Chief Executive Officer of the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, has announced that she will be leaving the organisation once a successor has been found.

Bev has been the organisation’s CEO for six and a half years.

“I am proud to have been part of BGF’s rich history and proud that I’ve been part of a team that has delivered such extraordinary work and services to positive people. The continued response to HIV by the organisations in our sector is exemplary, and I pay tribute to their commitment, skills and care”, Bev said.

BGF President Martin Walsh said, “On behalf of the Board of BGF, I would like to sincerely thank Bev for the vast amount of work she has contributed to the HIV sector in NSW through her work with hundreds of clients over the last six and a half years. Her work in developing new services and policies for PLHIV, improving the organisation’s operations and augmenting BGF’s funding are well known and much appreciated by the community.

“Bev has been an inspiration to many staff and volunteers within BGF as well as a highly credible public face of the organisation. Bev has few peers in terms of her profile across the sector and BGF wishes her well in making the transition to an equally significant role in the future.”

The recruitment process for the new CEO is now underway with Carolyn Soddy from the recruitment company Futurestep managing all enquiries.
