Drag Queen Pussy Willow dies from a heart attack in his sleep on Sunday, July 8.

Whybrow (Shahgopal Whybrow) was aged just 38.  Whybrow’s alter ego, Pussy Willow, was an institution at the GH Hotel, where he had been performing his act for the past two and a half years.

The news of his passing has spread to the broader LGBT community via Facebook, where fellow performer and long-time collaborator Tabitha Turlington announced the sad news.

Friends and fans of Whybrow’s work immediately responded with an outpouring of memories and love.
