Energy drink supports the LGBTIQ community

V Energy has announced that they will be creating a limited edition can for the 2015 Mardi Gras festival.

V Energy are celebrating their third year of being in partnership with Mardi Gras and after mocking up the limited edition cans in 2014 for social media, the resulting positive feedback has led to V Energy putting the can into production for this year’s festival.

This is the first time since launching in Australia in 1999 that V Energy has produced a limited edition can for the original V Green Drink. The cans will be given out at Fair Day, Harbour Party and to participants of the Mardi Gras Parade.

V Energy is supporting their Mardi Gras partnership, and the limited edition can, through a media campaign and the slogan “Out Since ‘99”, shows their long-standing support for the LGBTIQ community.

Marketing Manager of V Energy, Craig Harkness said, “At V Energy, we’re proud to continue our sponsorship this year, and with these celebratory cans, we hope to help parade goers get their party started!”
