What it actually means: Make-up in a variety of colours and shades applied to the lips.
What it means to lesbians: A feminine lesbian.
3. Chapstick
What it actually means: Transparent gloss or treatment for dry lips.
What it means to lesbians: A soft-butch, i.e: “Justin Bieber is such a soft butch.”

What it actually means: An extremely annoying pop-star.
What it means to lesbians: A lesbian who looks like Justin Bieber.
5. Scissor
What it actually means: An instrument used in many homes and offices to cut material, paper and so forth.
What it means to lesbians: An inappropriate question you are asked by complete strangers: “So, do you scissor?”

What it actually means: Often found in bedrooms. Somewhere to store clothes, shoes and accessories.
What it means to lesbians: A person/lesbian who is not yet open about their sexuality.
7. Pillow princess/queen
What it actually means: The ruler of all pillows.
What it means to lesbians: A lesbian who likes to receive oral sex, but not reciprocate.

What it actually means: The highest point/peak.
What it means to lesbians: A woman who prefers to give pleasure and is the most dominant in bedroom.
9. Vanilla
What it actually means: Obtained from vanilla pods and used to flavour foods, such as ice-cream.
What it means to lesbians: Sex without slings, handcuffs and other spicy accoutrements.
10. Sister
What it actually means: A biological sibling with whom you share parent(s).
What it means to lesbians: A straight woman or lesbian friend who you are not sexually attracted to. Usually used in response to constant questioning about whether you fancy a close friend: “Ugh, no. She’s like my sister.”
